Wednesdays has EXCLUSIVELY hired chef Andrew Corbin, aka Drunken Prawn for a *private* supper club on Saturday March 23rd
"Peranakan" or "Nyonya' cuisine is a mix of Malaysian and Chinese cuisines dating back to the early Chinese migrants who settled in Malaysia. Expect an evening packed with unapologetic Peranakan flavors from Andrew's upbringing, all in one of Hackney's most historic community centers.
This event will feature a 7- course set menu with dishes including Sambal Ikan Bilis ( (Crunchy dried Anchovy and peanuts in sweet sambal), fried chicken wings with pickled sambal, popiah (fresh spring rolls), mustard greens in duck broth soup, Gai Lan (Chinese broccoli) in oyster sauce, poached chicken with chicken fat rice, and a surprise dessert :]

This event is BYOB and £5 from each ticket will be donated back to Hackney Chinese Community Center to support the wonderful work they are doing.
There are limited spots left, please book in ASAP to reserve your spot!
About Drunken Prawn:
