Wednesdays has a secured spots at one of London’s hottest new openings: Oma, a restaurant opening next week in Borough Market inspired by the Greek Isles from restaurateur David Carter, the co-founder of Manteca and Smokestack.
Carter and team have spared no expense with this restaurant, travelling to Greece personally to do the research for the menu and bringing in industry heavy weights Nick Molyviatis, former head chef at Kiln, and Jorge Paredes, former executive chef at Sabor.
On Wednesday April 24th we're heading over to Oma as part of our “First Look” Series.
Oma’s menu draws inspiration from the “simplicity and serenity” of the Greek Isles.
Expect dishes like gilt head bream ceviche with green chilli aguachile, dry-aged lamb with labneh & date molasses, red prawn with harissa & tzatziki, brown crab borek, duck gyros with chickpea, mint and shallot salad, and oxtail ‘osso bucco’ giouvetsi and more!
This is complemented by a selection of over 450+ bin wine list filled with mineral rich and saline notes reminiscent of sun kissed coastlines.
The purpose of our First Look series is to give our members a chance to try out all the dishes on the menu at new openings. We will write up our favorite dishes on our instagram, in case you can’t make it follow along here.
